How Soon Does The Medicine For Trichomonas Work?

Gimp tune. But how? Google

The free image editing software "Gimp" can - much like Photoshop and compatible programs - with useful Tools expand. And usually for free as well. A whole host of enhancements found in the plugin registry at the above website.

is basically a distinction between plug-ins, and Script-Fus.
  • plug-ins are small external programs.

  • also Photoshop plug-ins can be used with generally good success in Gimp. This, however, a special plugin is required.

  • script-Fu in the programming language "Scheme" written and serve - as batch scripts - the automation of regular and komliziert actions. They are virtually combined command sequences and so clearly accelerated. Especially when a certain routine a not to be underestimated work easier! In addition, Fu's script, in contrast to plug-ins, platform-independent!

Installation:

The scripts are unpacked and in the subdirectory scripts copied the installation folder. Upon restart, they will then be available in Gimp.

plugins according to the subdirectory plug- copied to or installed. And then rename the file . Xyz.py txt >>> xyz py or something like that.. In any case, must have a. Erased txt be!

TIPS:

A great collection of plug-ins and scripts is "FX Foundry dar. The package will be enriched and contains very good and above all, useful extensions. Who

Art Project

Google's Street Views are probably the most known. But who knows the Art Project of the IT giants? Apparently, all major museums are as universally recognized by and by. So far, there are already 17 after all world famous museums.

Most users opt first for a virtual tour through the halls, or for more intensive analysis of individual works. This allows the smooth zoom function, a sharp increase in detail of the images to the finest brush strokes! So close to the museum may not quite sure ran at the pictures! Very nice way to the painting style of the artists closer to bear in mind.

A tour can move relatively easily through the rooms and turn his gaze back and forth and up and down. The impression of space and movement as "the Voeigehen. Of course you can replace all, so no real fun visit, but a little museum atmosphere is but quickly.

And conveniently and at zero cost! smooth sustained

Two Charged Spheres Connected

Spoilt for choice - way of democratic transformation in Honduras

articles from the magazine Latin America News LN 440
a half years after the coup, the Honduran democracy movement FNRP (Frente Nacional de Resistencia Popular) still active. Their diminishing presence on the streets and in the mainstream media, the criminalization and suppression of opposition currents through the state apparatus and the international recognition of the regime of the Frente do Lobo, it is not easy. Lobo tries to dispel with a discourse of national reconciliation and apparent concessions to the opposition. Therefore it is essential that the Frente continue with clean the backing of the population maintains
Currently there are highly sensitive internal discussions about the possible future scenarios. Is, by what means democratic Redesign of Honduras take place? Should continue to be recorded in a non-recognition of the damage after the coup regime and sought through mobilization and pressure from below, a new constitution and new foundation be? Or is it realistic to tilt in for participation in the next elections in 2013 Step by Step inside and outside the stable equilibrium? Spoilt for choice (s) ... radical and moderate transformation are facing today. An important decision in the Latin American context of the 'New Left' has had to face many social movements, which produce equally productive discussion processes, or debilitating splitting tendencies can.
Whether and how the Frente will agree on a common line, decides on 26 February in a large gathering. In this, the current level of 56 provisional delegates be increased to about 600, to guarantee the representation of all departments and social sectors.
M agdalena Heuwieser discussed with Carlos H. Reyes and Sara Eliza Rosales about their ideas on the future of the resistance movement.
Carlos H. Reyes is president of the union STIBYS. Even before the coup he had erected as an independent presidential candidate for the 2009 elections, but eventually boycotted this together with the resistance movement. Currently he is senior member of the FNRP and is committed to a solution off the "coup-institutional" field.

What is your position on the future of the resistance movement in Honduras?
this, I read an excerpt from the best of my speech I recently before 3 I Congress of the European Left Party held in December in Paris: The way we designed have is that of the call for a national constituent assembly, which is fundamental, from the people, involving all sectors and aims at the reestablishment of the state. This would have the task to draft a new constitution as a result of a social and political pact, consisting of renowned actors, representatives of all social, economic and political sectors to equip them with legitimacy. This is the essential step to overcome the political crisis. If this succeeds, we can take the problems of backwardness and dependency in a peaceful way in attack. This process is anything but easy. We in the Frente large Debates and contradictions. Such contradictions have, such as José Martí said, conduct in-depth discussions on ideological solutions. In the 19th Century Karl Marx taught us that "every social struggle is politically, socially and every political struggle." Our enemies have succeeded in the social and political struggle in most countries auseinanderzudividieren the world.

Is that different today in Honduras?
As a result of the coup, we've done in Honduras, the social and the political element in the Frente together. From the intelligence of the Hondurans to avoid this division to continue to depend on the future of our country and its founding. We struggle for the Constituent Assembly, the return of exiles, including the coordinator of the Frente, Manuel Zelaya and the respect of life and human rights. We define ourselves as anti-imperialist, anti-neoliberal, anti-patriarchal and anti-racist. All we have done together. Therefore, we believe that we are now able to Hondurans not make the mistake of separating the social and political struggle. Once we have a new constitution, we need for one, its corresponding new electoral law occur, the participation in elections not only for political parties and independent candidates provides, but also social and political organizations such as the Frente. That would be a new way to make policy and an achievement for the democratization of our country.

while ... have to make-do sections of society previously pushed successfully for the military.
The Honduran oligarchy has long claimed that not a Constituent Assembly was constitutional. Zelaya was overthrown under the pretext of wanting to consult the people about such a meeting. Winning the argument of part of the Frente, the government and two-thirds of the seats in the next elections in 2013 can, then to a Constituent Assembly convened, will meet with the oligarchy in the same answer to the constitutional inadmissibility. Apart from that, if no electoral success should adjust to this extent, we would legitimize the regime.

How can you even imagine a Constituent Assembly convened in practice?
This is not a Constituent Assembly, which is legally effective immediately, but by the representative of various sectors of the country would be equipped with legitimacy - including entrepreneurs, but obviously not the coup proponents.
Thus, a new social pact to be closed, which is very well have a political impact. We thus reach the public a consciousness-raising process and an organization to defend the Constitution and to ensure that the next elections fail 2013th I'm not saying that's fast and easy. How long did it take to topple the dictatorship of Pinochet and Franco?

Are not all parts of the resistance movement behind this idea?
No. Some sectors of the Frente disagree with and now share a stake in the elections, because that is the easy way. But that they are not the problems To solve it instead will go on as always. They believe that they are a party to the legs and thus at once could win the election. I think that would rather get out a lot of small parties and small alliances. Apart from that, means the power division in the party and Frente, again to separate the political and social forces.

Eliza Sara Rosales delegates is in the line of FNRP, financial officer and part of the political committee. Even at age 15, she was active at left-wing youth movements, and later in student unions, and finally in unions. It is among the growing group that advocates for the participation in elections.

is it different in the Frente positions regarding the future of the movement. What options are debated?
are as the following discussion: for a general strike, conditions are lacking. The union movement is weakened, with more than 70% of temporary workers who are not on strike. There are Honduras no real unions in the private sector in addition to the STIBYS and two or three more. The others are unions of state employees, a strike which also cost the job would.
The armed struggle or a riot in Honduras is not an option. There were times when circumstances may have been, accordingly, now this is true, much less. The Honduran population has no tradition of struggle such as El Salvador and Nicaragua. We were always a more peaceful country. The Frente has chosen a peaceful path method. A peaceful uprising, I see not as bad, but we will not be on the road for years. Practice shows that our movement is weaker, because the people are exhausted. They are doing poorly financially, they want to see concrete results. After 18 months, they first think of how it can now go on really.
Participation in the elections is the proposal for which I advocate. This concerns specifically relating to the seizure of power, for control of the state. This is a historic opportunity to these dynamics, we can not afford to fall flat. For thousands of us, this is obvious. From there, we would convene a Constituent Assembly.

Are there people who see it differently?
Comparatively small groups are calling for a parallel power to state power and for an arbitrary convene a National Constituent Assembly . I think we could talk about the issue a separate notice, but not seen as a parallel power. In practice, there is no such parallel power and we will not be the first working example. The Zapatistas may have their own freedom, but what about the rest of the country? A parallel might have meant a part of the military to have on our side, on established structures and a high degree of self-financing support to be able to But all that is not here. We also need to be aware that such a constitution would be neither binding nor would legality.

So you see no sense in a matter of convening a Constituent Assembly?
Yes, but it must be clear to us that this will only be something between us. In this country there are other social, economic and political forces. In a constituent assembly, all sectors must be represented, whether we like it or not. A country is not just the resistance, and if we want the constitution is accepted by all, it needs more. That is, I support an independent calling of a Constituent Assembly, understood as a political action by which we achieve a more organic cohesion.

would look like to participate in elections, specifically?
If we make the decision in February to go to the elections, we must create a political vehicle to use. The Frente would continue as a broad social movement diversified and in parallel there was a party, which then could eventually participate in elections and this would represent the interests of the Frente.
addition of a party there are people who up to two months before the election independent candidates do, but that is not in this case then.
In the last election I supported the independent candidacy of Carlos H. Reyes, but this time I would not do that. It is pointless to be represented in the executive power, if we are not in Congress and the Supreme Court and do not have mayors. We should make up at least thirty deputies.

Do not you think that there will be voter fraud?
is this possibility. Participating in elections are a serious organizational work, among other things, to protect against voter fraud. The Frente would enter a new phase - to be held only in resistance, it was about positive action.

there have ideas about what real people are made of such a party would be?
No, because nothing is decided. The Liberals, of course, interest. But it would be premature to think about it, because still nothing has been decided.
When Zelaya came back into the country, that would advance the situation and create a greater dynamic range. Therefore, the oligarchy is so much against the fact that he comes back. With his return, he would very quickly a series of events trigger. This does not mean that he would be the candidate because he can not finally be.

there is a possibility that the Frente splits?
decide if the Frente, participate in elections, that does not mean they should abandon the social struggle in the street. You can combine the two.
will probably not agree that people with very radical positions with turnout, but this will be few. The vast majority will solidify the decision, after all it is a democratic decision. Consensus would of course best, but the Frente does have no common ideology. I do not care that we all think the same. Everyone has their own opinion and is respected. The Frente is characterized by its diversity. What is important is a programmatic entity, that is, joint programs and strategies that help us to the creation of Honduras.

B) SUMMARY OF RESULTS

The delegation was able to determine through discussions, meetings and interviews in Tegucigalpa and other parts of the country a general climate of the violation of human rights, both first and second and third generation . In several cases, the delegation participants witnessed violations of civil and political rights as the right to life, the right to liberty and physical integrity and the right to freedom of expression. The delegation is in view of the over 100 political killings without legal process to investigate a general climate of impunity fixed.

same time, and inseparably, the group saw them with numerous violations of economic, social and cultural rights face. The most serious violations of human rights, the second generation affected the right to food, which are visible in the Honduran land disputes and in the great social inequality in the country.

regards the third generation human rights, which includes the collective rights can be said that a majority of the population are denied access to a clean environment and the possibility of free self-development, while the rights of a small and privileged part of society can be perceived.

The delegation noted that the human rights situation has worsened since the coup in June 2009. Even the current regime Pepe Lobo's, has far from his promises of a return to democracy and reconciliation after the crisis, not so far contributed to the improvement of the situation. Instead, witness the climate of impunity, political killings and the increased privatization trends, especially in the field of social services and public goods, with an intensification of the situation.
The following are the most serious Incidents and human rights violations summarized

1) COPINH and the privatization of rivers

In La Esperanza, Intibucá opposed to the indigenous organization COPINH (Consejo Cívico de Organizaciones Populares e Indigenas de Honduras) the award of a series of concessions to use the rivers, which constitute a violation of the ILO Convention 169th
In that article 6, paragraph 1, states: "In implementing the provisions of this Convention, governments have a) the relevant to consult with people through appropriate procedures and in particular through their representative institutions, whenever legislative or administrative measures that it may affect them directly, be considered; [...]".
Water Use Act (Ley General de Aguas) in September 2009 affected the living conditions in rural communities strong by facilitating the licensing of 300 rivers across the country path. For 47 of these waters already existing concession contracts.
Berta Cáceres reportage showing COPINH that have taken place in the west 20 open town meetings of the indigenous communities in which the licensing of the rivers in the area was clearly rejected, but the government Porfirio Lobo gave no attention, and approved the licensing.

2) land conflict in Bajo Aguan

The human rights of the second generation, including the right to health, education and food are in the zone "Bajo Aguan" in the northern province Colón violated continuously. Failure to respect these rights results from the violent conflict over land ownership, which will put the violation of the right to physical integrity with it.
The few advances that have been achieved with the agrarian reform of 1972 went to the law on the modernization of the agricultural sector in 1992 lost, and below the current de facto government, which has a concentration of land ownership in the hands of advancing the few experienced this situation additional tightening.

The human rights organization FIAN, CDM, and COFADEH CIPRODEH with which the delegation of 8 to 11 December 2010 took part in a trip to Aguan, denounced complicity between the military, police and private security forces of the landlords. residents of the settlement in the town of Paso Aguan Panama, on the delegation at the ninth eviction present in December 2010 was reported on the presence of private security guards of the landowner Miguel Facusse during the eviction action. The delegation notes the militarization of the region, the repression of the peasant population and the lack of respect for almost all of their rights with great concern.

example for the direct involvement of state institutions to serious human rights violations, the kidnapping of the peasant leader and journalist Juan Chinchilla is on 8 January 2011. Chinchilla was two days of military, police and paramilitary forces detained and tortured before he could by chance and not least to escape thanks to international protests. His statement is documented under

3) land conflict in Zacate Grande

In Coyolito, a town on the peninsula Zacate Grande, was the delegation witnessed a land conflict between the local population and the bank HSBC. In this context include the following articles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in imminent danger: Article 17 (Property), Article 23 (work) and Article 25 (food and housing).
When the delegation on Tuesday the 14th December Coyolito arrived, was José Luis Hernández, employers of 37 residents of the community without presenting a warrant arrested by the police and the evacuation of his property and his house has been announced.
members of the community expressed their solidarity with him and his family, and defended the entrance to the village in a peaceful way to prevent the arrival of military and police.
According to information of this blockade COFADEH was cleared the following morning and arrested 14 persons, including three employees of the local youth radio station "La Voz de Zacate Grande. The villagers Pedro Canales said: "The village Coyolito existed for 100 years and the residents have tried to land titles for their land. They have been denied us. Suddenly diving representatives of HSBC bank with titles. "
Behind these incidents, the reporters of" La Voz de Zacate Grande "build to follow, interests to sell the land to weekend residences, as already happens in other communities can be observed on the peninsula. In the course of the fisherfolk of the region in the use of beaches for hindered their work - a fact that breaks with the human right to work.
4) climate of repression and impunity

The delegation noted a general climate of repression and impunity. With more than 100 political killings without any prosecutions or convictions since the coup, the violation of the right to life, liberty and security of person under Article 3 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is clear.
The delegation learned first-hand in several cases of intimidation and threats against human rights activists and members of social Movements:

  1. An example is the Comisión de Verdad . Employees of the alternative truth commission report by cars without license plates and with tinted windows, parked several times before the office of virus attacks on computer as well as direct threats. It was also reported that four people had arrange access to the apartment of a colleague, were stolen mainly using the computer and the mobile phone.

  1. Another example is found in Macuelizo, Santa Bárbara , where the leading member of O. Mendoza organization PRO (Patronato del Occidente regional) and local FNRP serious threats and a climate of constant fear describes.
The person referred to see their movement as a victim of a "Colombian" strategy, are murdered in the first known criminals to later admit, under the pretext that it was continuing to vigilante justice in the fight against crime, people out of the way actively in the resistance movement. Here was spoken of eight people murdered in Macuelizo and environment within the past month.

  1. The resistance movement "Frente Nacional de Resistencia Popular (FRNP), are gathered in more than 60 organizations and social movements and working hard to improve the human rights and democratization in Honduras uses, is faced with strong repression. Several activists were murdered and there is a climate of intimidation and the massive threat.

  1. One of the groups that are most affected by the violence after the coup, the LGBT (Lesbian / gay / bi / trans) community . Since 28 June 2009 more than 43 members of this movement were killed, representing a fivefold increase in the previous murder rate. Donny Reyes, coordinator of the organization Arcoiris (Rainbow), commented on this issue: "What are we to defend human rights if you kill us? At the moment it is purely and solely on the right to life. We will fight for life, everything else comes after that. But as long as the right to life is not guaranteed, it is difficult to fight for the rights beyond that. "This means that in parallel with the negation of the fundamental right to life, the right to Privacy and cultural rights are violated on identity and recognition of diversity. As for these violations, the community lives in an environment of indifference and impunity.

5) Planned "charter city"

began in January 2011, the government Lobo, with massive support from the national and international entrepreneurs lobby, the project of a "Charter City" or "Ciudad Modelo" to attack. At the suggestion of the U.S. economist Paul Romer such, according to world market forces functioning coastal territories of "developing countries" attract foreign direct investment and contribute with guidance from developed countries to the overall development of the countries.
The delegation is concerned that this project rather than social development and reducing poverty, social inequality could increase further. It would also planned for the far
area in the northern provinces Olancho, Colon and Gracias a Dios protected areas, and populated regions are used. This could lead to further land conflicts and environmental destruction. Already, complaints heard of Garifuna communities on the coast facing the sale of their natural habitats.

6) position of the European governments and development cooperation

The delegation met with representatives of the European Union and the German Embassy for their views on the current situation and the Government Porfírio Lobos to find out.
Europe is a discourse of support for democratic processes and strengthening human rights. This discourse is, however, in stark contrast to the full recognition of the Lobo's regime since he took office in January 2010.
This government is based on illegitimate elections conducted under repressive circumstances. Since the throne, there was no visible progress on human rights, on the contrary, denounced the delegation in this report, a complicity of the de facto government in the human rights violations.
The resistance movement made up for the democratization of the country through a Constituent Assembly recognizes (as well as many South American governments) the current Honduran government not to and rejects the recognition by the European From Union.

  1. The European Union has included the development of cooperation in early January 2010. The most critical project in this context, the "Programa de Apoyo al Sector de Seguridad" (PASS) , a program for reforming the security apparatus. Priority is to be supported with € 44 million over a period of 8 years, the Justice Ministry, the Ministry of Security and the Supreme Court. The program started in February 2010. Vanessa Valladares (EU Commissioner for Development Cooperation and civil dialogue in Tegucigalpa) show that there is dissatisfaction, however, about the effectiveness of these institutions in the implementation. However, the program runs, the "technical equipment to improve police investigative work, such as cameras and laboratories", contains further.
The German-Austrian Delegation rejects the PASS program because it supports the security sector, the largest part of the current repression and the continued impunity is responsible.

  1. After taking office Porfírio Lobos also the Assoziierungssabkommen was between the European Union and Central America signed.
The delegation condemned the free trade agreement, which will involve the recognition of a government that is rejected by the majority of the population as illegitimate.

  1. The European Union and the German government to grant official Truth Commission financial support - an institution, the 28th at the Lobo government to educate the "political events of the June 2009 "was launched. The delegation met with representatives of this Commission. Given the fact that: 1) make up the intelligence of the human rights violations only a small part of their work, 2) the investigation work is directed only to the period up to the office Lobos and 3) a majority of the population, the institution does not recognize, because it consists of protagonists of the coup, doubts the credibility of the official delegation of the Truth Commission.

The delegation also met with the "Comisión de Verdad", founded by the Honduran human rights truth commission alternative platform. For this, the documentation of human rights violation taking into account the political context of first priority, it also includes the reign of Lobos in the investigation.

National Reconciliation or continuation of the coup

Article from the Annual Report 2010 of the Ecumenical Office for Peace and Justice Association

both because of the social spirit of optimism in the country and the continued harassment of the movement by political murders, paramilitarization and media smear campaigns employed by the Ecumenical Office in the year following the coup of June 2009 more intensively on the development of the democracy movement in Honduras.
representatives of Honduran human rights organizations and the movement FNRP (Frente Nacional de Resistencia Popular - National Front of the Popular Resistance) repeatedly asked us for help in "breaking the news blockade" on the situation in Honduras and asked to show an international presence in the country.

Even before the government takeover by President Porfirio Lobo 27 January 2010 Parliament appointed by the coup, President Micheletti same as deputies for life, to protect it by immunity from prosecution. Shortly thereafter, a so-called amnesty law was passed that will protect primarily members of the police and military from prosecution for human rights violations and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACHR) was sharply criticized. Members of the Lobos National Party voted for both laws, and made it from the beginning suspected of complicity with the coup. It was given at a central point responsible for the coup, General Romeo Vazquez Lobo from the post of Director of the state telephone company Hondutel.

The regime Lobo fights since he took office to its national and international recognition. The countries of the Organization of American States (OAS) to link the resumption of Honduras in those States Federal Government under still subject to conditions that does not meet Lobo, including the criminal free re-entry of the exiled ex-President Zelaya. In the course of which the South American states refuse alliances MERCOSUR and ALBA's regime continues Lobo recognition. Unlike the governments of the U.S. and the EU: The argument that we must stabilize this government to bring a social reconciliation process after the supposedly vanquished coup in response, congratulated the representatives of these countries Lobo took office and also assessed since the coup frozen development aid again. This includes, inter alia, a project of the EU to strengthen the Honduran security sector (PASS), the German from the is Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) conducted. Lorena Zelaya, representative of the FNRP evaluates this as direct advocacy for the institutions that are responsible for the suppression of the democracy movement. The person responsible for development cooperation in the representation of the EU in Tegucigalpa, Vanessa Valladares admits, however, a dissatisfaction with the cooperation with the participating Honduran institutions, but so far not led to stop the questionable project.

were also resumed negotiations on the Association Agreement EU-Central America, which were completed in May 2010 the EU-Latin American summit in Madrid ceremony. This led to a remarkable scandal: The majority of the South African president refused to attend the Summit in the event that Lobo would be invited. Zapatero, the English hosts resorted to in order to move the signing of the Agreement on the day after the official summit. Paul-Emile Dupret, employees of the left group in the European Parliament, commented on this by saying: "Latin America, Europe, issued a lesson in democracy." In the three months in office the government Lobo had been killed including nine Honduran journalists. Zapatero responded by promising to English prosecutors in Honduras to borrow, the cases should help clarify. By the end of 2010, none of the over 100 political murders has been solved since the coup. There is still an atmosphere of complete impunity for crimes against the democracy movement, such as the U.S. human rights organization Human Rights Watch noted.

It is difficult for human rights defenders, to prove the concrete participation of governmental institutions in the crimes. Prevails, so Gilberto Rios of the human rights organization FIAN Honduras, a complicity between police, military, private security forces, paramilitaries, paid killers. The Honduran liberation theologian Fausto Milla speaks of a "Colombian strategy" when going about in the plantation region Bajo Aguan simultaneously carried out with impunity murder, the militarization of the zone and a media smear campaign against then colonizing small farmers and farmers happened.

The government, however, Lobo are trying to make their will to prosecute human rights violations to the test. Besides the official truth commission, which emerged from the Treaty of San José, there are three other state agencies that will provide for improvement of the human rights situation. Given the ineffectiveness of these measures, the Honduran human rights platform in June 2010 set up a separate truth commission, which internationally known human rights defenders is busy, including the English judge Luís Carlos Nieto and the Argentine Nobel Peace Laureate Adolfo Perez Esquivel. On demand
confirmed representatives of the Federal Government and the EU Commission in Honduras, in principle, to be ready to support the alternative truth commission financially. In fact, is but so far only support the official truth commission. This deals only with the events until the election in November 2009 and thus has no influence on the current situation. As the only European country to date support the alternative, the Netherlands Commission. Meanwhile, the staff this Commission seriously threatened personally.

Despite the enormous threat level for their activists working democracy movement FNRP continue to enforce their demand for a public dialogue on a new constitution. From April to October 2010 were collected in an independent government agencies conducted 1.3 million signatures campaign for the Constituent Assembly (Constituyente) and the criminal-free return of ex-President Zelaya. This is roughly half the voting population of the country. Lobo on the government responded with an invitation to the FNRP to a dialogue on a new constitution, but this rejected. In support, they claimed, would have been the victims of human rights violations receive justice. Also provides for the proposed schedule of Lobo, to marginalize the position of the FNRP and putschist forces to be preferred.

The Honduran society remains deeply polarized. In a poll by the Honduran Institute CESPAD October 2010, only 17 percent expressed confidence in the current democratic, 55 percent called for a Constituent Assembly and 33 percent were behind the movement FNRPii.
These works, however, stuck to its internal consolidation. There are programs for civic education and strengthening the structures in the communities and neighborhoods instead. An important role is played by the establishment of a network of community radio stations that play in the democratization process has a key role and therefore are targets for attacks and threats by paramilitary groups and over again. Within the
FNRP finds since November 2010, a strategy debate over whether the movement should participate as a party in the next elections in 2012 or whether, first, a longer process of building power from below is necessary.

lead to opponents of choice option is that an elite that have already defended their power in a coup, is unlikely to be willing to transfer it to the people through elections. Proponents say that the participation in the 2012 election was the only way to get to game rooms, which can change the country. It is expected that the Congress of FNRP 26 February 2011 decision.

built Given these developments, the World Bureau in 2010 from its solidarity and human rights work to Honduras:
In cooperation with the German "Honduras-ordination", Honduran human rights organizations and organized by the Ecumenical FNRP Office in 2010, various events and tours with Honduran guests (see page XX, XX) and a two-week delegation of journalists and representatives of human rights groups to Honduras in December 2010 (see page XXX).
In 2011 we will for the work to Honduras more challenges: The media presentation of the results of the delegation in December as a brochure and a photo exhibition, participation in building an infrastructure for human rights monitoring in Honduras and a critical public discussion of the German and European support for the Honduran security sector during the above PASS project.

articles for Annual Report 2010 of the Ecumenical Office for Peace and Justice Association

At an event in March 2010 in Munich EineWeltHaus had the Honduran human rights activist Bertha Oliva and the representative of the democracy movement FNRP Jesus Garza called on the German supporters to come into the country and with their own eyes to bear witness to what is moving there and how serious the human rights violations by the government of President Porfirio Lobo still are. This is important both for the protection of activists and human rights defenders, on the other hand, it is urgently necessary to break the silence of the international media since the elections in November 2009, barely over Honduras reported and so gave the impression that with the new government of coup overcome. led a tour through the country to places including acute conflict situations. In Bajo Aguan on the north coast, the delegates witnessed the evacuation of a settlement of landless peasants, in Zacate Grande there were farm workers, who opposed the illegal appropriation of their homes by a major international bank, in La Esperanza from the Salvadoran border members of the Lenca ethnic group who defend themselves against a barrage major project on the territory of their communities. In these and other cases, the activists of threats and acts of violence reported to their organizations, which are all part of the resistance movement FNRP (see country report, page XX).
In Tegucigalpa, the delegation met with other organizations active in the FNRP, with human rights organizations and with representatives of official bodies of the Honduran and German Governments and the EU Commission.
The delegation ended with a press conference in which the government certifies Lobo a way to deal with the opposition in the country was, has nothing in common with democratic standards.
